Awe-Inspiring Technologic Advancements in Vacuum Cleaners

There was a time when cleaning our houses was a huge task because of the hours we had to put in for cleaning using the broomstick and the mop. With the changing times, the task of cleaning has also changed with the advent of the vacuum cleaners which have made our job of cleaning very easy and what more can you expect when you are getting your house all clean just in a matter of a few minutes?

Vacuum cleaners are unique machines which have air pumps fitted into them and thus they can suck the dust found in floors and carpets by making partial vacuum and can thus transfer the dust onto the dust bags or the cyclones which can be discarded later on.

Scientific thinking goes into the making of the vacuum cleaners and hence they deliver accurate results. Suction is the theory on which the vacuum cleaner works which is produced inside the cleaner by changing the air pressures. The device has electric motors inside it and they help in the reduction to the internal pressure. The dust on the floor is sucked onto the nozzle from the floor and finally reaches the dust bag by the assistance of atmospheric pressure.

Various studies on the workings of the vacuum cleaners have revealed that they are able to kill 96% of adult fleas and 100% of young fleas during the vacuuming process. A new technology which was discovered by a British scientist uses air stream instead of the vacuum to clean carpets and floors and is called the Air Cycling Technology. Although this new method was found to be more effective than the Vacuum method, still till date it has not been used in any type of the cleaners which are available in the market.

Several kinds of vacuum cleaners are obtainable which have been manufactured with the idea of providing the best for the different classes of users. HVACC system or the House Vacuum is an excellent example which can do the vacuuming of an entire house with its house vacuuming system and the central suction unit. Also there is another great vacuum cleaner called the Canister which is made up of various motors fitted into different canisters and the adjustable hose finally attaches it to the vacuum head.

One of the Canister variety forms is the Wet Vacuum which works on liquid spills and also performs the usual process of vacuuming too. Pneumatic Vacuums, Back-pack vacuums, Built-in or Central Vacuum cleaner, Hand-held vacuums, Robotic Vacuums and the Drum vacuums is the long list of the other types of vacuums which have several specialized features in them. Robotic Vacuums captures due attention especially because of the way it works which is a chaotic manner and also it is more of a robot requiring almost nil human help and is usually battery-operated.

It is important to discard off the dust collected during the vacuuming process and that is named as exhaust filtration. Various ways which are used in the vacuum cleaners are with bags, without bags and using cyclonic separation, water filtration and Ultra fine air filters.

When vacuum cleaners were first introduced, people gasped at it thinking it as a great item of luxury but slowly, this idea was diminished as vacuum cleaners crept their way into every household and now they have turned into items of great necessity without which it is not possible to have tidy floors.

L. V. Gamble is captivated by residential technologies primarily vacuums which in German are referred to as Bodenstaubsauger. Mr. Gamble clearly shows the quick improvement in household electro-mechanical appliances due to exhaustive research by enterprises like Siemens Bodenstaubsauger.
