In this WoW Paladin Guide you’ll learn about the Paladin and strategies specific to this WoW class.

Paladin: Introduction

In Warcraft the Paladin is the holy knight or holy warrior. They’re actually a combination of the Priest and Warrior class in many ways. This fact makes the Paladin class a great choice for those who like both the Priest and Warrior class but want more options in play style. The Paladin class can be played if you’re one of the following races, Humans, Dwarves, Draenei, and Blood Elves.

I’ll go into some of the Paladin’s strengths later but one thing they’re really good at is combat. One reason for this is the fact that they wear heavy armor that can withstand heavy damage. Secondly, they can use massive weapons including two handed maces, axes, swords and polearms that can absolutely destroy enemies like the Undead.

On the other hand they’re great healers, able to heal not only themselves but also their allies not to mention they can resurrect the dead. This combined with their aura and blessing abilities make them great additions to any group

Paladin Strengths:

• Formidable in Battle: Heavy Plate armor and strong self healing.
• Heals Allies
• Auras & Blessings: Large bubble provides excellent protection to groups.
• Can summon Warhorse mount

Paladin Weaknesses & Challenges:

• Learning the right blessings and Aura for each battle takes time.
• Mastering your healing abilities can take time.
• Mana Dependent
• Limited ability to draw attack

Spells:

Being secondary spell casters, Paladins are able to cast spells known as Seals. They only last about 2 minutes but can give bonuses during battle such as being able to cause more damage or even generate more mana. Paladins are dependent on Mana because it’s what they use for their abilities such as spell casting.

Seals can also provide Judgment which can cause more damage or prevent enemies from fleeing.

Auras:

With a bubble of up to 40 yards Auras provide really good buffs to groups.

Blessings:

Blessings are like auras but apply to characters. They have a 10 minute life but can give you the ability to regenerate your mana or have more attacking power.

Professions:

In conclusion of this WoW Paladin Guide I’ll give you a quick look at some good profession combinations for the Paladin.

• Herbalism + Alchemy: Save your mana by using potions for healing instead.
• Mining + Blacksmithing: You can make your own armor instead of questing or buying it.
• Mining + Engineering: Make grenades and other gadgets to increase attack range.
